Jantar Sp. z o.o. Zakład Przetwórstwa Ziemniaków Stolon is a producer of potato flakes, gained from the selected eatable varieties of potatoes, not genetically modified. Raw material is produced in Poland under strict supervision - in the region that is famous for potatoes cultivation.

Potato processing industry is already a long tradition of our company, which was established in 1889 under the name of Stärke Fabrik von Steifensand. Since then the company has been reorganized until today when it became a famous producer in Poland and Europe, which on the basis of modern technology produces the highest quality product.

Potato flakes, due to simplicity of use and preparation, reduction of losses during processing and storing, reduction of transport costs (comparing to raw potatoes) and possibility of their use all over the world, become the global product. Potato flakes is the highest quality product, which for many years has gained flattering opinions of customers on national and foreign markets. Its high quality is a result of 114-year experience at production of potato products.

For production of our flakes we use potatoes from the selected eatable varieties, not genetically modified, cultivated under strict supervision. They come from Pomeranian region, which characterizes with excellent soil-climate conditions for potatoes cultivation.

The flakes may include different additives and granulation (bulk density) according to customer's requirements. Also the basic weight of packet i.e. net 25 kg bag may be modified on customer's request.

Use for

potato flakes are used in refrigerating industry as a raw material for production of frozen foods such as all sorts of dumplings, croquettes, potato cutlets etc.
the use of potato flakes for bakery has an impact on improvement of aroma-taste properties of products and on natural prolongation of freshness period
in the meat and poultry industry, addition of fine-grained potato flakes in the amount of 3-4% to cured meats, has a positive impact on the coefficient of absorption of water - released in the process of meat size reduction
in the industry of refined potato products, such as: crisps, where there is a sudden increase of use of dried potatoes
in the concentrated food industry, the potato flakes are used as thickening agent for instants soups, sauces, puree etc.
